I fell in love with these Louis Vuitton swinging half boots when scrolling through my Instagram feed. I’m normally a flat boot kind of gal but I think the heel is what I love the most with these beauties. I hold Leandra Medine from The Man Repeller responsible for fueling my love of expensive shoes (these boots were first featured on her Instagram account and it is because of her that these Valentino leather pumps are also on my list of “shoes I need”) but I understand that ultimately this has been a long time love affair that only grows stronger with each passing season.
I love the light blue patchwork detail of these boots against the bronze heel. There are so many different outfit options that would look great with these boots – skinny jeans and an oversized tee with a leather jacket; a midi-dress and tights but I have found myself leaning towards skirts lately – which is so unlike me, I in fact only own 1 skirt – and Autumn/Fall is the perfect time to introduce this wardrobe staple. I love the contrast of this military green Marc Jacobs wool-twill mini skirt against the blue and bronze of the boots. I then paired it with a classic crisp white shirt and Country Road is my go-to destination for all things classic.
While I would never (never!) admit to looking forward to the end of smmer, these Louis Vuitton swinging half boots would certainly make these longer and colder days a lot more bearable.
